It’s been a difficult week and a half for my family.  My great aunt Margaret suffered a heart attack the day after Christmas and has been in the hospital since then.  She was with my cousins on their way to enjoy the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn.

 Unfortunately, they weren’t able to see them and my cousin said she wanted to go since it was the last night.  She also wanted to thank the amazingly compassionate staff at Bella Trattoria who wonderfully cared for her young son while they called 911 and assisted my aunt and cousin and awaited paramedics.  We decided to go to the Festival of Lights every year for Aunt Margaret as a family and to celebrate her.  Please keep my family, especially my cousins and Aunt Margaret, in your prayers.
