New Backdrops | Las Vegas Family Photographer

Now that the holidays are behind us (and the risk of ruining any Christmas surprises), we are excited to share some of our recent sessions!

When we moved here from the beaches and stunning weather of Southern California, I was excited and nervous to explore some new locations.  Southern Nevada offers some gorgeous landscapes.  I had so much fun with some old and new friends as a nice introduction to some local hot spots.

My first shoot was at Floyd Lamb state park.  Though it wasn’t my first time shooting there, it was the first shoot as a Nevada resident.  It was so awesome to see Jalisa and her family again.  Her and I used to work together in Long Beach, CA where I resigned to pursue photography full time.  Her family was one of the first families I had the privilege of having in front of my camera way back in 2011.  She is such a special woman and I admire her greatly.  Her charismatic adorable daughter made her debut on the small screen shortly after birth on the show Private Practice.  She performed the entire shoot and we had such a blast together!

The next shoot was with some new friends.  They were kind enough to invite us over for a barbecue at their home not long after we moved here.  They told me about this awesome place, Nelson Ghost Town, that is great for shoots and I must say that I absolutely agree with them!  Not only is the surrounding landscape gorgeous, but there were so many fantastic spots with vintage vehicles, historic buildings, old abandoned film props.  I’m looking forward to many more adventures at this little gem.

Stay tuned as my little assistant and I go on adventures searching for more amazing locations!  I want to thank my sweet friends for joining me and allowing me to be their new Las Vegas Family Photographer.
